Full time - permanent position (35 hours/week) RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent supports Indigenous families in their efforts when they find themselves in a youth protection context. He advises and supports families in the articulation of their needs and aspirations. He facilitates the understanding of the workings of the youth protection system, particularly the laws, rights and recourses that apply to them. When appropriate, they work with families to identify and implement options to overcome barriers to successful outcomes. He works to build long-term relationships with youth protection professionals and authorities as a witness to families' journeys along the continuum of services. YOUR BIG CHALLENGES
