Community health nurse​
  •  Hourly rate of $33,47 à $43,30, depending on experience  (University degree).
  •  Reimbursement of membership professional dues.
  •  Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week).
RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent participates in the delivery of a range of nursing care in a community and outreach setting, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team using a culturally relevant and safe approach.
 
Concretely, your main challenges will be to : 

  • Integrate nursing practice into a individual, family and community global wellness response, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. 
  • Contribute to the coordination of the medical and front-line services offered by Indigenous health clinic.
  • Provide nursing care, particularly in the areas of current health, perinatal care, chronic illness, vaccination, etc.
  • Actively participate in health promotion and prevention activities. 
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Your profile 
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, combined with 1 to 2 years of work experience in a similar field.
  • Be a member of a professional order.
  • Work experience and-or knowledge related to the reality and issues in the Indigenous environment.
  • Great knowledge of computer and technological tools (Office suite software).
  • Precise and complete knowledge of professional clinical standards and practices.
  • Great knowledge of French and English.
