Full time - permanent position (35 hours/week)
Under the supervision of the Infrastructure Services Coordinator, the job incumbent is responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Val d'Or Native Friendship Centre building and its adjacent infrastructure.
Hold a high school diploma, combined with one (1) year relevant job experience;
Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Must have good knowledge of urban Aboriginal realities and/or possess work experience in an Aboriginal work environment.
Aptitudes and skills
Be responsible, self-sufficient, thorough and organized;
Be in good physical condition;
Be skilled at manual work;
Being bilingual is an asset;
Knowledge of an Aboriginal language is considered an asset.
