Full time - permanent position (35 hours/week)
Under the supervision of the building maintenance supervisor, he/she is responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Val d'Or Native Friendship Centre building and its adjacent infrastructure.
Hold a high school diploma, combined with one (1) year relevant job experience;
Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Must have good knowledge of urban Aboriginal realities and/or possess work experience in an Aboriginal work environment.
Aptitudes and skills
Be responsible, self-sufficient, thorough and organized;
Be in good physical condition;
Be skilled at manual work;
Being bilingual is an asset;
Knowledge of an Aboriginal language is considered an asset.
