Maintenance worker
Hourly rate of $17.95 to $22.32, depending on experience.
Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week).



RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent is responsible for the indoor and outdoor maintenance of the Val-d’Or Indigenous Friendship Centre’s buildings.
 
Concretely, your main challenges will be to : 

  •  Clean, scrub, and wax corridor, office, and staircase floors. 
  •  Empty garbage cans and other waste receptacles.
  •  Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures (sinks, counters,     mirrors, dispensers, toilets, etc.).
  •  Check and refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
  •  Clean and tidy janitorial areas. 
 

REQUIREMENTS
 
Your profile 
  •  Hold a high school’s degree, combined with 6 months or less work experience in a similar field.
  •  Work experience and-or knowledge related to the reality and issues in the Indigenous environment.
  •  Hold a valid driver license.
  •  Knowledge of French and English.

  •  Good physical condition.
