HUMAN RESOURCES COUNSELOR
 Hourly rate of $30,51 to $39,47, depending on experience.
 Reimbursement of membership professional dues.
 Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week)
RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent accompanies, supports, and advises managers in achieving their objectives by ensuring healthy human resources management in the following areas: staffing, onboarding, benefits management, training, skills development and health and safety.
 
Concretely, your main challenges will be to : 

  • Collaborate in the onboarding of new employees to ensure that all relevant and mandatory documents are offered to them upon their arrival (first week work schedule, work tools, etc.). 
  • Evaluate the current training offer, collect and analyse information to identify employee’ needs in term of skills development, with a purpose of continuous improvement.
  • Plan and implement a skills development plan based on current and future needs.
  • Develop training content adapted to the organization’s objectives and implement an internal onboarding program. 
  •  List the inventory of training offered to employees, collaborate in the collection of statistics and the preparation of reports, and ensure that the budget is respect.
  • Act as a support in the coordination of skills development activities. 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Your profile 
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations or equivalence, combined with 2 to 5 years of team management experience or in a similar field.
  • Work experience and-or knowledge related to the reality and issues in the Indigenous environment.
  • Great knowledge of the law applying to human resources management.
  • Great knowledge of Suite office software.
  • Great knowledge of French and English.
  • Membership in a professional order is considered an asset.
