 Hourly rate of $16.89 to $21.00, depending on experience.
 Temporary part-time position (25 hours per week).
RESPONSIBILITIESThe incumbent plans, coordinates, and participates in activities related to the preparation and cooking of food and customer service at the Val-d’Or Native Friendship Centre. 
 
Concretely, your main challenges will be to : 

  • Develop attractive and healthy balanced menus, ensure the standardization of recipes and the quality of food.
  • Determine and order the products and foodstuffs needed to prepare the recipes.
  • Maintain the inventory of the food warehouse.
  • Ensure the kitchen equipment meets hygiene and sanitation standards and safe use in accordance with CNESST standards. 

 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Your profile 
  • Vocational’s degree in culinary, combined with 2 to 5 year of work experience in a similar field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer and technological tools.
  • Accurate and complete knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
  • Basic knowledge of French and English.
